Abstract

|
An epidemiologic study was conducted to identify the source of infection & the mode of transmission of diarrhea patients at one Korean air-base. The findings of epidemic curve(unimodal), water examination(E.coli), and questionnaires suggested that the source of infection was the contaminated water supply facilities in a mess hall. The problems
of this study are improved by the introduction of HACCP(Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), manpower and equipment to test the samples, education about epidemiologic study, and espense ensurance.
